Record keeping I feel has always been essential to success in any facet of life. I’ve been recently keeping really extensive financial records of all my personal transactions and it’s helped a ton with my savings goals and keeping me on a straight line.
I felt the same way in the past when I logged and counted calories during my years in UC Riverside when I lost a ton of weight!
So in anticipation of getting “back on the horse” to losing weight, I bought a body fat analyzer off Amazon.

I think they had one in the UCR gym, but the reviews were good and I was told it was fairly accurate. It’s definitely will be nice to see my enormous body fat % drop over time once I get the ball fully rolling.
Besides that I’ve been trying to find more time to dedicate to my music lately. Work has been steady and I’ve signed up for a few classes at community college to help prepare me further for the CPA examination this summer. I’m taking a government/non-profit accounting class and a payroll class just to cover the last two bases I haven’t touched in accounting, as well as instill some study habits in me before I throw down $2,600 for the Becker Review (ugh)
